Finding the Floor - A thoughtful approach to midlife motherhood and what comes next.
Listen to stories told by Camille Johnson as she reflects on her life raising a family of 5 kids, being happily married for 22 years, and finding the joy and laughter of it all. She has been trying to find the floor to her kids' rooms for a while and gets a peek about once a week. Come listen as she shares her journey of finding her floor both literally and figuratively as she contemplates, life, love, cleaning, pets, books, remodeling, being a taxi driver, finding wholeness, living as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and figuring out what she finally wants to be when she grows up. If this podcasting becomes a thing well maybe this is it. Thanks for listening!

A lesson on gratitude to share at Thanksgiving time.
“Maybe when you start recognizing the blessing you have, others will reveal themselves.” I really love reflecting on the things I am grateful for each day! In this episode I am sharing a lesson I gave my daughter’s young women’s group in our ward last spring which I am also going to share with my extended family at our Thanksgiving gathering. I wanted to share in case you might want to use all or a part of the lesson for your family at Thanksgiving too. I am a big proponent of a gratitude practice. It really can help you overcome the negativity bias and help you to recognize more of the blessings you have in your life. It has so many health and social benefits that I share as well. The most important thing is showing gratitude is a way of showing faith in our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I will have these quotes and screen shots from my powerpoint on my website for this episode if you choose to use them for Thanksgiving as well.
